George has been a bushcrafter most of his life. As a child he became acquainted with Ray Mears, and by the age of thirteen was making his own woodcraft knives and writing a page in a magazine aiming to get other kids outdoors. Since then he’s been on wild adventures with sled dogs in Arctic Scandinavia, survived a charging elephant in Nepal, and spent time in the Altai mountains of Siberia. ⁠ ⁠ He has a Master’s degree on the relationship between humans and nature, and is involved in managing Bushcraft Magazine and now is our operations man at Wild Kids.
