Simple scrape the black coating from you firesteel and learn how to create a shower of sparks and aim them at your tinder. Once you’ve mastered your spark, the tinder has taken, then use the expandable bellows to gently blow your ember into a flame, made of stainless steel, these expandable bellows will help save any set of eyebrows from getting too close to the fire! When the sun does finally appear, then try lighting the wax paper with the Wild Kids magnifier.

Ignite the Tinder rope to take a spark, blow on its gently to start a new flame.

Remember this isn’t a toy, but it great  fun and a skill to master.  Fire is essential for the outdoor adventure. No fire means no light, no warmth,  no cooking and no toasted marshmallows!
