Not with this fantastic glow in the dark firesteel. Complete with a striker which can not only be used to create the sparks with your ferro rod but also to create fine tinder shavings any accidental extinguishings can be countered in minutes.

Please bear in mind that this kit is intended for outdoor use only, as the ferro rods can produce sparks reaching temperatures of up to 3000°C. While this tool is generally suitable for kids aged 8 years and older, adult supervision is recommended. Keep in mind that everyone’s competency level varies, regardless of age, so please exercise caution when purchasing any  fire lighting tools. These are not mere toys!
